Ford Highland Park Plant: Looks like I spoke too soon.

In a remarkable display of poor timing, an article was posted on October 18th announcing that the plans I’d written about three days prior for the Highland Park Model T Automotive Heritage Museum have been scrapped due to lack of funding, as well as the departure of a few key members in charge of the project at WA3.  According to the article, written by Kirk Pinho of Crain’s Detroit Business, the building will still be renovated, but what exactly it will become as well as how much of it, if any, will be open to the public, remains unknown.

Clearly my happy face emoticon was a bit premature.
